Are Democrats happy that their Minimum wage increase has helped drive us into the largest job loss in 50 years?

Minimum Wage has not cuased that. Giving Tax breaks to companies who outsource jobs over seas has done more damaage. The Dems were elected in Nov 2006, their budget and proposals didn't go into effect until Oct 2007 - so there is no way that these job losses were caused by that - things don't work that quickly..this has been a slow boil over the last 6 eyars. Most economists agree we were in a recession by the Tiem their first budget went into effect in Oct 2007- so its causes had to have occured before that. p.s At the end of Bush 41 - we had 6.6% unemployment and a mild recession. At the end of Clinton - 3.8% unemployment and we wer paying $284 million towards the defecit - we had a surplus - and now after another Republican Administration 6.7% unemployemtn and $10 triullion dollar deficit ($1.2 trillion this year alone) and a bankrupt economy - the facts tell the real story
