More and more doctors are allowing the use of medical marijuana now than ever before. I don't believe that medical marijuana usage has the stigma attached to it now that it did several years ago, as more doctors learn that it's the only pain relief that some people can get when stronger prescription drugs have negative effects on their body. I believe I'd take the chance that they'll understand the reasoning behind this. At least they would know they're possibly hiring an honest person, and that can mean a lot these days. I feel that way sometimes too, and it sucks, because for me, I really do care what others think of me. What you have to do is act like you don't care what they think of you, and after acting like that for so long, one day hopefully you won't care. Another thing that really helps me is writing in a journal. I know, it sounds a little geeky, but it really helps to get out all of my anger and frustration, and I actually feel better after writing everything down. You need to hold your head up high, and just forget about all of them. They don't know you, and everything you have been through so who are they to judge you? Really, who cares what they think about you...you just have to be positive, or just really try to be.

I have a 2 week old, I have low milk production, I am taking Fenugreek and blessed Thistle as recommended by the lactation consultant.I also make sure to feed her every 2-3 hours. I am only 16 and my reasoning makes me sound like a military expert compared to some anti war pacifists. The Vietnam war was from 1955-1975 ( we started sending in our troops in roughly 1964). In about 12 years of fighting we lost only about 48,000 military KIA. That comes to about 4,000 dead each year. The Viet Cong lost over 1,000,000 KIA soldiers (not civilians soldiers). Hell statically it was better than Korea,ww1, and ww2; so when people say that we lost i think they are being ignorant. Our politicians may have let us down but; our military certainly did not. Sick Kitten! What is my kittens diagnosis? How can I help her?

I just bought a young kitten and when I got her I found feces on her foot and she had fleas. I don't know her age so I am scared to use any flea medicine however I have bathed her twice. The first time was to try and kill the fleas. Everyone in my house said she smells so I washed her again with a better smelling shampoo and she smells better. For the first couple days I fed her cat food and she was puking the first two days but I got her kitten food and she stopped vomiting. I found out she had diarrhea and when she went to the bathroom she meowed intensely. Her eyes are starting to form yellow and green goop in the corners and today i noticed she has redness around her eyes as if she put on red eyeliner. I have only gotten her first vaccine and I dont know her age either. She is about a pound. I have treated the diarrhea with some pink liquid over the counter medicine from Petco and she has solid feces now. Can you help me figure out what is wrong with her?

You probably don't want to give her milk yet- it seems like she's not tolerating it well. She may be lactose intolerant or have an allergy. If it is the lactose (milk sugar) that bothers her, she may do better with cheese (especially hard cheese) and yogurt. If she has an allergy then the milk protein might be a problem. I would talk to your pediatrician about it but consider avoiding milk for at least a few months and try it again later. milk or formula can provide nutrients, and combined with other calcium and protein sources she needs she can have all her nutritional needs met. I would not try to give her soy milk yet as it is a top allergen and many babies sensitive to dairy are also sensitive to soy. You might find it necessary to avoid milk for another year or so. Sometimes babies can be sensitive to things and then outgrow the sensitivity- only time will tell. Good luck!

I like to think of myself as a mature person. I'm a junior in college, and I'm currently in the process of getting my Bachelor's in the Science of Nursing. I've been golfing recreationally for about 10 yrs. I need to get good clubs. I need advice. Can anyone help?

I've always used a cheap set of irons and driver/3W/5W. I shoot mid 90's to low 100's. I have a yypical righty fade/slice on most shots, though I do hit some really good shots mixed in. I've been going to golf shops, etc looking around and asking questions. Seems the consensus is that I need game improvement irons? Also, that I should definitely get fitted for clubs. I've been recommended: Taylor Made RAC OS2's, Taylor Made r7 Draw, Adams a3 OS, Cobra S9, Callaway Big Bertha 06 and 08, Nike Slingshot OSS. There are so many choices and things to consider. I really want to work toward shooting in the 80's and I really want to make my new club purchase worthwhile and get the right clubs for me. Has anyone used Nioxin?

I wanted to hear about anyone's experience with Nioxin. I have been using it for about 2 months. A little less than two years ago, I had a terrible experience with glued in hair extensions. I was uninformed (& heavily mislead) about the extreme damage that it would do to my hair. My hair thinned out drastically, and although it seems to progressively become thicker, it still is not where it used to be. I use Nioxin system 1, the cleanser, the scalp therapy (although typically do not directly apply it to my scalp every time I use it because it seems to weigh my hair down) & the scalp treatment. I take a multivitamin twice a day, a vitamin b complex, 1200 mcg biotin (recentley lowered from 2500 mcg as I thought that was too much) & 1 to 2 flaxseed oil caplets per day. I just want to hear about anyone's experience using Nioxin & how long it took them to see results,if any.

Ectomorph, endomorph, or mesomorph? please help!?

First of all yes. You can be a mix, but it is not simply ecto-meso, endo-meso ect but degrees of each. From what I can tell you have very high ecto tendencies. Like you said your small joints point to that. Mesomorphs gain muscle in a completely different way and tend to maintain it very easily. Not that you can't be muscular but you would have a hard time building it. Especially describing you diet. When I eat that much (but better choices) and workout I tend to gain ten pounds of muscle. So based off height, weight, joint size, calorie consumption, and muscular description, you sound like a full ecto. Definetly not endo. One final indicator is abs and chest. Ecto- flat chested, very defined abs but not projected abs. Meso- pecs are rounded and extrend from chest, abs project, and generally have a v shape around hips. anyway good luck hope you figure it out.

Alright, first off, if you've never gone past or bjs, as long as he didn't coat his fingers in semen before you, it's IMPOSSIBLE to be pregnant. Semen has to be IN the to get pregnant. You don't have semen in , you don't have a baby. It's that simple. Second off, how old are you? It's common during the teenage years to have irregularly light or heavy periods...nothing to cause alarm. All the "symptoms" you've listed can be pregnancy, PMS, menstrual, hormonal, stress, or illness related. In other words, none of those things are indicative of pregnancy. Thirdly, you can't 'flush' anything out of anywhere by drinking soda, or any drink, really. Don't worry...education is the best protection...if you're so worried about pregnancy, educate yourself on protection, safe , and women's anatomy/physiology. Hope this helps.

So my sister is kind known for being full of crap. She started having some pain in her eyes a week ago. She went to the er and now she has been blindfolded for weeks. However, as the altitude increases, the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere drops dramatically as well as the air pressure. Jet engines have a hard time flying much above 50000 ft because of lack of oxygen. This is why you have to carry oxygen with you if you want the engine to work at high altitudes.

Over the winter of 2008/2009 I spent a ski season in Europe and I totally lost sight of who i really am. There was a lot of drink involved and on many occions I got very very drunk. I am not proud of what I have done and I slept with a fair few people. On one occion I went back with a boy who i hasten to add was a guest and slept with him. I have barely any recollection of this and woke up the next mornig embarred and left. Over the next few weeks it was revealed that one member of his party filmed us without my permssion and I was utterly mortified. Yet, stupidly I tossed these thoughts aside and carried on being reckless even ending up in bed with one guy whose friend took photos. I confronted him about these and he promised to delete them. It finally caught up with me 6 months later and the regret, remorse and self-hatred caught up with me and it bcame so bad I had to go to therapy, see a physchaitrist and eventually went on to anti-dpressants for anxiety. Whilst on these I got better and straightne myself out -had one blip- and then met my boyfriend. He knows nothing of my past. However, in the past month it has all caught up with me again. I have counted how many people I have slept with-11 and I hate myself, it makes me feel physysically sick. I am terrified that these images of me are on the internet, I stress so much that a viral e-mail of me will be sent around the world. I can't sleep properly, I cry all the time and literally want to die. I haven't been on anti-depressants for a year and don't want to go back on them but I can't see an alternative. I am also wondering if I should tell my boyfriend about my past or if I should leave it there in the past and try and move on.

I think the series is worth buying. You can get the first 7 books in a box set for about $35. After i bought them, I shared them all with my friends, i think they were ped along to about 7 people and everyone loved the series. I read the twilight series and did not enjoy it as much. Anne Rice's Vampire series is another good series to try out.

Help! Finch baby won't drink water!?

When we got a batch of Finch babies two months ago, we were all overjoyed of course! We've never had baby Finches before, so we were also kind of scared because we didn't know what to do. Of course, with every batch comes a runt, and what a runt she is! Although, things aren't so good for our little runt. She can't fly well, and has a deformed foot. We set some perches on her level and a little nest on the ground since she can't fly up to her family, and we also ALWAYS set the food on the ground on a little dish, which is spinich and eggs, every morning. The only problem right now is that she doesn't understand how to drink water. We've set a water dish on the floor, we've set one of those hamster water bottles on the side of the cage, and we've even set a water dish at her level on the side of the cage. She just doesn't understand it. The only way she knows how to get water is by drinking the drops that fall out, and sometimes she likes it when we squirt her with the spray bottle. None of the other finch babies have this problem. What can we do to help her understand? :(

I'm omly 17 weeks, sounds like I have lots of fun things heading my way, I have to say whats making me the most fed up is the not being able to sleep properly, gone are the days when I sleep right through the night, if I am not getting up to go for a pee, I have achey legs, or I have had some awful dream, or I simply just cant sleep!! I guess its preparation for when baby comes but I would just like a proper nights sleep at some point.

My 5 year old has symptoms of adhd. He is now in kindergarten has an IEP for his focusing difficulties and impulsivity (much less in school) His focusing issue is huge. He with a small group for a 15 minute period needs 12 reminders to stay focused. There are many things going on sensory (sometimes sensitive to loud sounds, not always) ALWAYS putting things in his mouth. He has to have gum in school or he saturates his clothing. He is very floppy, wiggly and totally distracted when he walks. He lies a lot and tells a lot of fantasy stories. When having family gatherings veers off alone,(even when he is excited about the "get together." Appears to not have much interest in children his age only older kids or adults. He usually "runs" things if he engages with the kids his age or "uses" them for things. He doesn't seem particularly interested in their ideas, thoughts.. only "can I have that toy?", "share your popsicle".. once he gets what he wants he is outta there. He is very strong willed, argumentative, and can be very oversensitive. I remember when he was 4 someone on the playground called him a "monkey" jokingly and he bawled and shut down, the look on his face was sheer pain.. this broke his heart. His eye contact is ok, but when I / or the special ed teacher tries to help him focus by getting him to look at me/ her it is very difficult for him. Otherwise he has good eye contact. I could go on and on... obsessions that don't last .. a toy he must sleep with bathe with, set at the table and two days later forgotten. Most things are his way simple things are a struggle especially if he is focused on something (usually his legos). It is very difficult to reason.. he gets angry, upset.. discipline doesn't work (time outs age appropriate) it sets him in a rage.. etc etc... anyway, what I want to know is if you have a child that has been diagnosed add / aspergers what were they like at age 5???? Also, I forgot to mention that his vocabulary is above average for his age his teachers and doctor have remarked on this. THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLY.... :)
