What happens when you fry fresh sardines with the scales and guts still in it? :D?
Hullo all. I've never fried fish b4 but I've seen it done many times. Problem is, I only ever saw the part where they fry it. So here I come, thinking I know what I'm doing. Seasoned the fish, dip it in flour and fry away. It looked great! Until I finished cooking and took a big bite. All this brown gunky stuff came out. UGH! i'll spare you the details. Just wondering if I can just clean the gunk out after the fact or if it's better to just throw the whole fish away. They were pretty small fish.
