Why do the Aussies hate the Brits, so much?

I am an Aussie. Remember our convict history. The poms have been calling us Colonists forever. They enjoy looking down on us. Most of our ancestors were from there. I was born here. We don't really hate them, but do enjoy the Rivalry in sport.We stick it up em whenever we can. They do the same.
