Is my ex-boyfriend gay or tryin to make me jealous?

Me and my bf have been 2getha for 2 in a half years on and off. we clearly still love eachother but broke up a day ago. He txtd me last nite at 2am and askd wut im doin.. but doesnt wanna tlk about ne thing really. jus small tlk, then he txts again at 3am askin the same thing. i happened to b up cuz i was partyin. then today he calls me sayin he needs some advice. I say ok wuts up? He says he has a friend thats an exotic dancer and offered him a job payin $500 a nite at this club for older women stripping. (my "ex"bf dances but not strips) so he asks me if he should do it or not.. why wuld he call me and ask this when he knows i would NEVER want him to strip for other women!!! I told him i wouldnt want him to do that but do what he feels is right. Does he want attention?? the break up was mutual.. over long distance becasue he claims hes lonely wit out me now that im n college.. whats really wrong with him???
