Ecology of the first humans,or their descendants?

Hunter-gatherers living in "clan" units, with some groups staying put and some moving around to follow the availability of food. They were omnivorous and would eat fruits, leafy greens, rhizomes, tubers, some insects, and whatever meat they could catch.
